“In Paris, I pursue exchanges with circles of entrepreneurs, private bankers, notaries and asset managers. In the south, I spend most of my time in the field. On the subject of the market in southern France, Antoine Verdet adds :

“Le Var is the “département” closest to my heart, it offers an authentic part of Provence and a fabulous coastline. Since the generalization of teleworking, we have seen the appearance of blueprints for “semi-main” residences here, joining projects for retirement or holiday homes. Candidates often come from large cities on the north-south axis, Paris and Lyon, closly followed by buyers from Marseille and Nice who are increasingly drawn by the Var coast, between St-Cyr-sur-Mer and the Giens peninsula. Less than three years ago, when money neither cost nor brought anything, and everyone was experiencing the trauma of confinement, acquiring a home outside urban centres became a reflex to safeguard one’s health. Today, money pays interest and is costly, teleworking is regulated, and even though there are still many plans for the sale and acquisition of outstanding properties, decisions are binding and thus also justify the choice of exceptional assistance”.
