MCY 76, a yacht unlike any other
Presented in Venice for the first time in July, 2010, it is still the subject of many discussions. Proposed by the very recent Italian company, Monte Carlo Yachts, the MCY 76 inaugurates a new range launched by the Beneteau group.
A sumptuous 23-metre flybridge, the MCY 76 is essentially a cocktail of sheer excellence ! For its design, the boat-builder enlisted the services, crowned by many awards, of the Nuvolari & Lenard team. The design of the hull and engineering were entrusted to Seaway. The model’s various appointments thus benefit from the very best in techniques, technology and performance. Its high, flared bow allows it cleave through the waves with exemplary dignity. Its Kevlar hull, where shocks and bumps are most common, is light but very tough. The MCY 76 benefits from a built-in manoeuvering system with a multi directional joystick, a waste-water treatment system, photovoltaic panels producing some of the electrical energy, and a unique upper deck. More elevated than usual, it offers a superb relaxation area where privacy is a priority. The cockpit is reached via gangways and a Portuguese deck. The bridge and dining area are protected by a fixed T-Top in carbon fiber. Owners can choose the positioning of the galley and layout with 3 or 4 cabins. Each part of the yacht’s interior has been appointed to ensure maximum sobriety, quality and comfort. Anywhere, any time, this is a great way to rule the waves !
