Two years ago, the first edition of Sunrise Yachts, called “Africa”, sailed off elegantly across the sea. Now it’s time for her little sister, “Sunset”, to make her entrance into the world of prestige yachting...
Even though it has its own architecture and design office, the construction site in Turkey was very impressed by the plans proposed by the talented Paolo Scanu and entrusted him with the design of this 45-metre yacht. The interior design is the work of Franck Darnet. For “Africa”, the owner, of South African origin, had wanted decor on a specific theme and had a few exotic touches added (Makoré partitions, alcantara ceilings, furniture upholstered in crocodile skin or cowhide). In the case of “Sunset”, the approach is very different : more contemporary, incorporating light oak, pure silk and leather. A total of five cabins can accommodate eleven passengers, five more are reserved for the crew (nine in all). On the lower decks, main and upper, in addition to the comfortable sleeping areas, amenities come in the form of a spacious dining-room, two lounges and two kitchens. The sundeck, particularly large for a yacht in this category, is protected by a hard top and offers a solarium of 20 m2, whirlpool, dining area, bar and electric grill. Impeccable in terms of its esthetic, functional and technical attributes, this “Sunrise” is an ideal companion for cruising the high seas.
