The superyacht as seen by Pininfarina
Renowned worldwide for having designed over 100 models for Ferrari, Pininfarina is taking to the sea !
In collaboration with yacht-builder Rossinavi, the Italian design firm has in fact just unveiled a sumptuous 70-metre yacht called “Aurea”. Revealed on June 1st at the SuperYacht Gallery event in London, the plans of this yacht adopt a style resolutely turned towards the future, with flowing lines paired with innovation in terms of space management. In fact, the Aurea will offer the largest Beach Club in its category thanks to its diesel-electric motor being housed at the centre of the yacht rather than in the stern. The space thus liberated hosts two swimming pools, three large sundecks, and direct access to the sea on each side of the hull. The yacht’s design unveils various styling gimmicks borrowed from the world of the automobile. Aurea’s main deck is given over to guest cabins, while the upper deck, dedicated to the owner, is surrounded by sheltered sundecks so that the glass windows in the central part offer sweeping views of the ocean. Solely by order and designed for a passionate elite, this superyacht will post different prices depending on the options and finishes chosen by each lucky owner.
