Yachting : 28-metre Open Hard-Top
This Couach yacht is both high-tech and comfortable. Proof in images...
The latest arrival in its category, this Couach yacht combines the advantages of an open model with those of a boat designed for cruising the high seas.
Both comfortable and high-tech - a challenge won by the Couach boatyard. With its very modern lines, the Open gives priority to esthetics and the general configuration of the living space. In addition to the three guest cabins, the owner’s cabin offers no less than 27 m2. The same generous dimensions benefit the lounge in teak, oak and white cérusé, a refined blend of wood, leather and silk. The real star on this architectural stage, the light streams in from the roof with its 4-metre sunlight, the rounded bay window and giant portholes. Far from sacrificing technical aspects on the altar of design, the architect has not forgotten the cruise boat’s real vocation : an average speed of 33 knots, top speed of over 40 knots thanks to surface propellors, fuel cap-acity of 8,500 litres, a V-shaped hull with a very fine water inlet for an even keel. Attention has also been paid to sound-proofing, stability and lightness. The last two owe a great deal to the use of carbon and honeycomb in the construction of the hull, bridge and furnishings. Finally, fans of excitement and water sports will appreciate the garage, big enough to house an inflatable outboard dinghy and a 3-seater jet-ski. For those more attracted by “farniente”, the foredeck proposes 4 sun-loungers and an outdoor living area.
